On October 29, Eric Daugherty posted that President Trump predicts California will try to steal the governor’s race from Steve Hilton after thousands of noncitizen ballots were flagged.

Trump said: “Of course they are. California is very corrupt. The elections are extremely corrupt. The judge should not have done that, but will appeal that of course. We found 20,000, but there are hundreds of thousands of bad ballots, bad votes in California!”

An activist judge blocked the DOJ’s effort to sequester the ballots. Supporters called for an immediate appeal, to the Supreme Court if needed.

The same day, California Governor Gavin Newsom angrily warned President Trump that he is deploying an army of lawyers to California battleground districts to catch federal agents committing felonies if they try to stop cheating by “illegally seizing ballots.” Newsom said: “I just made it a FELONY to illegally seize ballots. A warning to Donald Trump: I’m deploying election lawyers to key battleground districts in California to protect every vote.”

Commenters noted that the only reason for DOJ intervention is fraudulent ballots. Newsom’s warning targets the enforcement of federal law, not illegal ballot seizure. Do not count noncitizen ballots.

Also on October 29, the Alaska “fake Dan Sullivan” ballot case entered a strong criminal investigation phase. Eric Daugherty reported that Alaska Governor Dunleavy announced the fake Dan J. Sullivan refused to go under oath during the initial investigation, and even tried to set his middle initial as “S” to match Senator Dan S. Sullivan.

Dunleavy said: “He did not want to talk and do it under oath!” and “Quite frankly, the individual should not be on the ballot!” Supporters called to kick the fake candidate off the ballot and prosecute both sides. Political operatives were heavily involved, including most likely Peltola’s own people.

According to earlier New York Times reporting, aides with Peltola’s campaign and the Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee ran a months-long secret plan to recruit another man named Dan Sullivan onto the ballot. Under Alaska’s Ranked Choice Voting system, the confusion could cost the real Senator Dan Sullivan critical votes. President Trump previously called it a fraud on the American public and said the Democrats’ false statements under oath constituted perjury. Multiple grand jury subpoenas are expected in the coming days. Attorney General Todd Blanche had previously indicated more news would come this week.

Honest elections are the foundation of a democratic country and the fundamental difference between dictatorship and democracy. If that foundation is broken, it is no longer a democratic country. President Trump and those fighting for election integrity are trying to hold that foundation.
