- 随着解除武装推进,以色列军队将逐步撤出加沙;
- 国际稳定部队(International Stabilization Force)将与新的巴勒斯坦警察部队共同负责安全;

President Trump Announces Complete Disarmament Agreement for Gaza as US-Iran Military Confrontation Escalates

[Tianwang – Pacific Time, July 30, 2026] (Edited by Tianwang Volunteer)
U.S. President Donald Trump announced on July 30 via Truth Social that the “Board of Peace” under his leadership has reached a “historic agreement” on Gaza, requiring the complete disarmament of Hamas and all other armed groups. At the same time, the military confrontation between the United States and Iran further escalated, with U.S. forces launching a new round of large-scale airstrikes against targets of Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC).

1. Gaza: Trump Claims Agreement Reached on “Complete Disarmament”

In his post, Trump stated: “Today, the Board of Peace reached a HISTORIC agreement for the COMPLETE DISARMAMENT of Hamas and all other armed groups in Gaza. This is a monumental step toward lasting PEACE and SECURITY.”
According to Trump, the agreement will be implemented in phases:
- As disarmament proceeds, Israeli forces will gradually withdraw from Gaza;
- An International Stabilization Force will work with a new Palestinian police force to take responsibility for security;
- The ultimate goal is for a new Palestinian government to take over Gaza and work closely with the Board of Peace.
Trump thanked Egypt, Qatar, and Türkiye for their mediation efforts and emphasized that this is a major milestone in the implementation of his 20-Point Plan. He said: “Gaza will no longer be used as a base for terror attacks.” “The threat that emerged from Gaza on October 7 will NOT be allowed to rebuild!”
According to the BBC, a senior Hamas official has verbally confirmed agreement to the disarmament plan and indicated that an official statement would be released soon. As of press time, Israel has not issued an official response. Some analysts note that the details of the agreement, the supervision mechanism for weapons decommissioning, and Israel’s actual willingness to implement the deal remain to be seen.
Since the Hamas attack on October 7, 2023, and Israel’s subsequent large-scale military operations, Gaza has fallen into a severe humanitarian crisis. If the disarmament can truly be carried out, it will directly affect whether civilians can obtain basic security and space for reconstruction.
2. US-Iran: U.S. Forces Launch “Heavy Wave” of Strikes as Conflict Continues to Expand

At the same time the Gaza news emerged, U.S. Central Command (CENTCOM) confirmed that U.S. forces conducted a “heavy wave of strikes” against IRGC targets inside Iran on the evening of July 29.
Targets included:
- Military command centers
- Missile and drone facilities
- Coastal surveillance and defense sites
- Maritime capabilities
The U.S. side stated that the operation was in retaliation for Iran’s earlier ballistic missile launches against U.S. bases in Jordan. Iran claimed it had carried out counterattacks against U.S. targets in Jordan and elsewhere, and reported civilian casualties in the airstrikes (Iranian state media said at least a couple and their two-year-old child were killed on Qeshm Island).

The conflict has spread to a wider region. Jordan has intercepted Iranian missiles for consecutive days, related attack reports have also emerged in Kuwait and elsewhere, and a drone incident involving ships occurred near the Suez Canal. Analysts worry that the US-Iran confrontation could further disrupt shipping through the Strait of Hormuz and the global energy market.

Tianwang Commentary
On the same day, the Middle East saw two parallel developments: progress on a peace agreement and military escalation. If the Gaza disarmament agreement can be genuinely implemented, it may bring a period of relief for local civilians.
As for Iran, this confrontation once again exposes the nature of theocratic rule — a regime that oppresses its own people through religious authoritarianism and spreads chaos across the Middle East through proxy wars, ultimately bringing endless disaster to the Iranian people and the entire region. We hope the Iranian theocracy ends soon, that Iran moves toward genuine peace, and that the Iranian people soon gain freedom and dignity. Only when the roots of authoritarianism and terrorism are eliminated can the Middle East achieve stability, and only then can the world move toward lasting peace.
