Iran Parliament Speaker Admits: “We Are Hungry, We Cannot Survive”

据Newsmax 8月23日报道，伊朗议会议长穆罕默德·巴盖尔·卡利巴夫（Mohammad Bagher Qalibaf）近日在巴格达公开警告：
“无论我们的军事力量有多强大，如果我们饿着肚子，就无法支撑下去。”
According to a Newsmax report on August 23, Iran’s Parliament Speaker Mohammad Bagher Qalibaf recently issued a public warning in Baghdad:
“No matter how strong our military power becomes, if we are hungry, we will not be able to endure.”
卡利巴夫把军事与经济比作“两个翅膀”，直言如果人民挨饿、经济停滞、国内生产崩溃，政权就撑不住。
Qalibaf compared military power and the economy to “two wings,” stating bluntly that if the people go hungry, the economy stagnates, and domestic production collapses, the regime cannot survive.
目前伊朗通胀约90%，GDP大幅萎缩，失业超百万，石油出口几乎归零。美国制裁与海军封锁正在见效。
Iran currently faces inflation of around 90%, a sharp contraction in GDP, over a million jobs lost, and oil exports near zero. U.S. sanctions and the naval blockade are taking effect.

一个长期高喊“反美、抵抗、革命”的政权，终于被饿到自己说出“我们撑不下去了”。这说明外部压力是有效的，也说明再多导弹和代理人战争，也填不饱自己人民的肚子。
A regime that has long shouted “anti-America, resistance, and revolution” has finally been starved into admitting “we cannot endure.” This shows that external pressure works, and that no amount of missiles or proxy wars can fill the stomachs of its own people.
再看中共。中共同样面临经济下行、青年失业、地方债务、人口崩溃，却从来不敢像伊朗这样公开承认“我们饿了”。相反，它用更严密的言论封锁、数据造假和维稳机器，把危机捂在锅盖下面。伊朗至少还敢在公开场合说半句真话，中共连这点都做不到——这正是专制体制更危险、也更虚伪的地方。
Now look at the Chinese Communist Party. The CCP similarly faces economic decline, youth unemployment, local government debt, and population collapse, yet it never dares to openly admit “we are hungry” the way Iran has. Instead, it uses tighter speech controls, data fabrication, and a vast stability-maintenance machine to cover up the crisis. Iran at least dares to speak half a truth in public; the CCP cannot even manage that — this is precisely what makes authoritarian systems more dangerous and more hypocritical.
川普政府持续施压伊朗，让对方高层不得不承认现实，这才是真正有效的对外政策。而对中共，同样需要持续、清晰、不妥协的压力，而不是幻想“接触改变”。
The Trump administration’s continued pressure on Iran has forced its top leaders to acknowledge reality — this is truly effective foreign policy. The same approach is needed against the CCP: sustained, clear, and uncompromising pressure, not the fantasy of “engagement leading to change.”
人民饿了，政权就危险了。这句话对伊朗适用，对中共同样适用。
When the people are hungry, the regime is in danger. This applies to Iran — and it applies equally to the Chinese Communist Party.
