We do not want anybody hurt. This was a fraudulent election, but we cannot play into their hands. So go home. We love you. Go home in peace.

The other layer is for the other side. He nails “fraudulent election” again, and takes the violence charge off with “go home in peace.” He keeps the ground and keeps the frame.
