At 1:47 a.m. PDT on October 5, Elon Musk reposted an old note by Mike Benz and added one sentence. “USAID engaged in election interference and regime change around the world, causing massive strife.”
美西时间10月5日凌晨1时47分，埃隆·马斯克转发迈克·本茨的一条旧帖，自己加了一句。“美国国际开发署在全世界从事选举干预和政权更迭，造成巨大动荡。”
Benz posted that note on August 19, 2025. He called it a statistic people may not know: USAID more than doubled its spending on Brazil as soon as Jair Bolsonaro won the 2018 election. This was not because Brazil suddenly needed twice the aid. The money was spent on projects in Brazil to undermine Bolsonaro. Four images were attached.

This is not a new audit. Musk took Benz’s Brazil figure and named the practice: election interference, regime change, strife in more than one country. The doubling and the purpose are Benz’s. The name for it is Musk’s.
