He signed an executive order and issued regulations prohibiting hospitals from performing chemical or surgical transitions on minors and cutting federal funding to schools that allow biological males to compete in women’s sports. Subsequently, the NCAA and the U.S. Olympic and Paralympic Committees changed their policies to ban males from women’s competitions. The University of Pennsylvania also restored women’s records and issued a public apology.
14. He ended collective bargaining for approximately one million federal workers

4. He forged one of the greatest peacemaking records in U.S. history
He made progress toward lasting peace in conflicts between India and Pakistan, the Democratic Republic of Congo and Rwanda, Cambodia and Thailand, and Armenia and Azerbaijan. He also ended the 12-day war between Israel and Iran, brokered a deal to end the Israel-Hamas conflict that secured the release of all remaining hostages, helped avert conflicts between Kosovo and Serbia and between Egypt and Ethiopia, and brought Kazakhstan into the Abraham Accords. Although Russia’s war on Ukraine has proven more intractable, this is considered an unprecedented record.
3. He did more to help Ukraine than Biden ever did
He continued providing Ukraine with new weapons worth billions of dollars (paid for by European allies rather than American taxpayers), supplied targeting intelligence for deep strikes into Russia, and offered Ukraine a NATO Article 5-style security guarantee as part of a potential peace deal.

2. He got NATO allies to raise their defense spending commitments
He pushed all allies to meet the 2% of GDP defense spending target for the year and, at a NATO summit in the Netherlands, secured their agreement to raise spending to 5% by 2035—more than double the previous commitment. NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte called it “something NO American president in decades could get done.”
