X平台老板埃隆·马斯克今天连发三条帖，讲的是一件很直白的事：地面上换太阳能、风电，挡不住更长时段的气候灾难。 他主张把卫星送到太阳和地球中间，像一块可调节的遮阳板，少让一点阳光打到地球上。
X owner Elon Musk posted three times today with one plain claim: switching to solar and wind on the ground will not stop climate disasters on a much longer clock. He wants satellites parked between the Sun and Earth, like an adjustable shade, so a little less sunlight hits the planet.
先把几个词说清楚：
A few words in plain language:
- 日地拉格朗日点：太阳和地球中间有个相对“站得住”的位置。卫星停在那里，不容易被甩跑，正好挡在阳光来的路上。
- Earth–Sun Lagrange point: a spot between the Sun and Earth where a satellite can stay put. It sits on the path of incoming sunlight.

At 12:32 a.m. Pacific Time on August 30, someone said the most practical way to cool Earth was a swarm of smart devices around the Sun. Musk replied: that is how it will be done. Smart satellites, shot from the Moon to the point between Earth and the Sun, could handle global warming for about one billion years.

上午8时整，他再写：地球历史上，大约每1亿年会来一次极严重的灭绝。只靠换清洁能源，挡不住这种级别的冲击。必须用太空卫星管温度，再加上大规模改造地球的工程，否则就是完了。
At 8:00 a.m. he wrote again: about every 100 million years, Earth sees an extremely severe extinction. Clean energy alone will not stop a shock of that size. Space satellites to control temperature, plus huge engineering on Earth, will be needed—or it is over.

上午8时12分，他补了一句更近的：如果还想住在今天海边的位置，大约只剩50年可以动手。他认为这50年够把卫星方案做出来，先解决眼下的升温。
At 8:12 a.m. he added a nearer clock: if people still want to live where the beach is today, there are about 50 years to act. He thinks that is enough time for the satellites to deal with the heat now.

把三条合在一起，就是两段时间、两层办法：
Put together, it is two clocks and two tools:
- 眼前大约50年：想保住现在的海岸线，要尽快在天上装“遮阳板”。
- About 50 years: to keep today’s shoreline, put the space shade up soon.
- 长远大约10亿年：太阳会慢慢变亮，地面换电解决不了；卫星可以一点点挡住多出来的光。
- About a billion years: the Sun slowly grows brighter; changing power plants cannot fix that. The satellites could block the extra light bit by bit.
这不是已经开工的项目，只是马斯克把路线说给公众听：减排管今天的账，太空遮阳管更长的账。有人觉得地球不必主动降温；马斯克的意思是，只在地面上改，规模不够。
This is not a project already being built. It is Musk telling the public the path he sees: cut emissions for today’s bill, shade the Earth from space for the longer bill. Some say Earth does not need to be cooled on purpose. Musk’s point is that changing things only on the ground is not big enough.
