On October 30, Eric Daugherty posted that President Trump has given El Salvador President Nayib Bukele the green light to surge thousands of Salvadoran troops into Haiti to crush the gangs. The gangs had taken four of Bukele’s men. Trump’s words were: “Do what you have to do.”

El Salvador has already sent 2,000 troops to Haiti to rescue the four missing personnel. The most urgent wish of hostages is to be rescued by their own teammates. When the country does not abandon its people, the soldiers know they are not left behind.
萨尔瓦多已派出2000名士兵前往海地，营救这4名失踪人员。被挟持的人质最渴望的，是队友的营救。 当国家不抛弃自己的人，士兵就知道自己不会被留下。
This is not only a rescue mission. It is a clear message that a country protects its own. President Trump’s green light means the United States will not stand in the way of those who are willing to go and bring their people home.
